Making A Purchase
Every order is accepted subject to these Terms and Conditions. Every order is subject to availability. All transactions are in pounds sterling and we only deliver to mainland UK.
Shipping And Handling
LAST ORDERS FOR CHRISTMAS ON 19TH DECEMBER 2008.
We deliver either by courier or by post to addresses in mainland UK. Delivery charge is £4.95 to an address in mainland UK for all orders up to a value of £50.00; for larger orders, including planters, furniture and sculpture, please contact us for a price. Please note that we are unable to split deliveries when holding items on back order.
To make sure each plant is delivered to you in the best possible condition, deliveries are made in early spring for all plant orders confirmed before the end of October.
Container Grown Perennials
Order: ANYTIME
Delivery: ALL YEAR ROUND within 7-10 days of ordering
Bare Root Perennials
Order before: 31st January
Delivery: February, March and April
Bulbs
Order before: 30th November
Delivery: Autumn
Please note that all plants in the "Bulbs" section are delivered in Autumn and the delivery charge for Bulb orders is £4.95.
Delivery Schedule
We cannot accept for any loss or damage to the goods once they have been delivered to your specified address.
If delivery is delayed due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control we will notify you.
Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Privacy Policy
Shoots and Roots will not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies.
Returns Policy
Every care is taken to ensure that the plants arrive in prime condition - please follow planting instructions (See the FAQs Section). If you have a complaint please contact us by email immediately and always within 5 days.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your order at any time within 7 days of placing your order for a full refund, unless goods have already been despatched.
Faulty Goods
If you are unhappy with any products purchased from Shoots and Roots you may return them to us in their original condition within 5 days of receipt. We will then issue a refund for the full amount paid.
Please repack the items in their original packaging and send them to us following the instructions printed on the invoice. For your protection we recommend that you use a recorded delivery service as Shoots and Roots cannot be held responsible for non-receipt of goods. Refund of postage and packaging will only be made for faulty goods.
