A. By post in secure packaging and wrapped in a mossy bed of silky smooth peat.
Q. What do I do when I receive them?
A. How to care for your bare root perennials Bare roots are despatched in early Spring. You should open your package immediately and protect your bare roots from direct sunlight and extremes of temperature (keep within 2-4°C or 34-36°F). Check the roots straight away and inform us of any problems immediately. Pot up your roots as soon as possible into 2 litre pots or larger in a good multi-purpose compost and keep ready for planting out in your garden when the risk of frosts has passed.
